UNCLE BRYCE'S NOTES
Teton Valley Idaho is the quiet side of the Tetons. The Grand Teton rises straight up 7000 ft from the valley floor and the view from the Idaho side is actually more dramatic than from the Wyoming side. In winter it is a skiing and backcountry paradise. This is the home stretch stop on the loop roughly 3 hours from Ucon via Idaho Falls. The loop from Idaho through Utah Arizona New Mexico Texas the South Midwest Pennsylvania the Appalachians the Plains back to Idaho closes here.
