Enchanted Rock is the centerpiece of the Texas Hill Country a 640 acre pink granite batholith rising 425 feet above the surrounding landscape. The summit views of the Hill Country are stunning especially at sunrise and sunset. Beverly Sheffield Trail is a nice loop. Fredericksburg 15 minutes away is one of the best small towns in Texas with German food wine and history. The whole Hill Country area around Llano and Fredericksburg has great back roads and state parks. This is the Texas most people do not know exists.
