UNCLE BRYCE'S NOTES
The Sangre de Cristo Mountains Blood of Christ rise dramatically above Santa Fe. It is a fault block range with sharp peaks and deep aspen valleys. There is still late aspen color in early November in northern New Mexico. The combination of world class dispersed camping 20 minutes from one of the best small cities in America is unbeatable.
