The Chiricahuas are a sky island mountain range rugged peaks rising 6000 ft above the desert harboring plants and animals from the Sierra Madre of Mexico found nowhere else in the US. This was Apache homeland Cochise and Geronimo territory. Remote wild and magical. Rock formations rival Bryce or Zion with 1 percent of crowds.
